Receptive skills are equally important. These skills may be our student's weakness or strength in the beginning of the year. Interestig lessons and appropriate tasks will motivate them to refine these skills and function at their best. One aspect of the sample ESA lesson that caught my attention is pre-teaching vocabulary in the study phase or also known as unlocking difficulty. This will help students in achieving their goals for the lesson.This chapter was great because it allowed you to connect all of the tenses together while learning about the future tense. The material was helpful because it put your mind in the mind of a teacher and allowed you to practice teaching lessons. It's great to connect all of the tenses because you can find similarities in the usages and structures of the tenses. I learned how to form sentences with the future tense and to teach the future tense.
