I found this unit to be interesting and very practical. I know that while acquiring my college degree, several of the tools taught in this unit were used through out my education. I found question number 11 to be confusing. In a regular dictionary, you would find the origin of a word. But I did go to the website for the Cambridge dictionary and saw the word usage in context so I changed my answer. I felt this question could have been worded better to specify the type of dictionary as not all dictionary seem to be the same. Such as Webster's dictionary.This unit will be very helpful and useful to me as I begin teaching English as a foreign language as it details the common English certification exams offered by different external testing bodies around the world for learners of English. A useful tip I learnt from this unit is that there are several ways to assess students' progress - Tests, Students' evaluation and Tutorials. Each of these is appropriate at different juncture and is carried out by different parties, either teacher or students. I also learnt about the different types of test in detail.
