This unit continued the explanation of tenses. This material delves back into the meat of the course content. It appears you have divided up the discussion of tenses by every other unit. I'm not sure yet how I feel about this, but I think it will be affective for me to study all of the tenses together at some point. I was a little confused at how the usages related to the tenses themselves. They formation of the tenses themselves were not particularly challenging, but actually verbalizing how you do something naturally daily proved to be more difficult.I used to think that reading and writing were not as important as the rest but now I see that I was mistaken. Reading and writing can be used from a menu in a restaurant to reading an important email from a boss. I also used to think that one should always use authentic recordings in lessons, but now I see that that could easily hurt the students' motivation and confidence if it is too hard. I also learned that one should go over some important vocabulary before reading or listening but also save some for them to figure out on their own while they work.
