This unit was a little more difficult, primarily because it was significantly longer than past lessons, meaning that I had to break it up into smaller sections which made it feel less cohesive to me. However, there was a lot of good information built into the lesson, and the numerous examples of lesson plans for various types of lessons was not only helpful now in trying to learn the content, but will continue to be helpful in the future as they will provide groundwork for future lesson plans of my own creation.Once again I found myself re-visiting basic grammar forms. The unit made me realise that what comes so naturally in conversation, now had me really thinking twice about breaking a sentence/clause down to its form and usage. It also motivated me to look at/think of ways to simplify basic sentence structures when teaching and the teaching ideas also had me exploring different ways to make grammar more interesting and coming up with different ideas and games for the specific age groups I am interested in teaching.
