Unit 15 is about testing and evaluation. It introduces the different types of tests for learners and when, why and how they should be used. It is noted that placement test is necessary to check the students' levels and place them in the right group. Progress test, on the other hand, is used to check what the students' have acquired and remembered. The later part introduced the types of external exams such as TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS and the like. I find this unit very helpful in planning my next progress test material.This unit explains very clearly the verb in its past forms, including a brief review of regular/irregular verbs and their conjugations. I personally found very helpful the connection it has been made between present forms and their corresponding ones in the past forms (present continuous - past continuous, present perfect cont.-past perfect cont. exc,)
It also suggests a couple of nice exercises that could be done in class to put into practice all these verb forms while conversing and boosting one's oral skills.
