From this unit, i learnt that classroom management is a term teachers use to describe the process of ensuring that classroom lessons run smoothly despite disruptive behavior by students. It can be understood that the importance of classroom management involves more than just discipline and rules. It also entails organization, routines with which students come to feel comfortable, and positive attitudes on the part of teachers and students. Therefore classroom management is important to the whole education process.Unit 11 examined receptive skills when learning a new language. Some of the topics covered were the motives/reasons connected to reading and listening. Whether for pleasure or goal driven, strong receptive skills aids comprehension and understanding related to successful integration of a new language. By choosing a varied array of materials will keep students motivated and interested in topics presented in class. Not unlike the video lesson, enthusiasm plays a significant role in the language learning environment.
