This unit lesson featured the use of the various future tenses within the English language. The unit reviewed the seven most common future tenses and provided descriptions of their forms and uses. This unit also provided teaching examples for each of these tenses, and the suggested activities will greatly enhance future lesson planning. The unit also pointed out typical errors students make when learning future tenses for the first time, which is, again, very useful.This unit was about how to teach receptive (reading and listening) skills. Although it was short, it was important and informative.
I learned that a teacher should not use authentic reading and listening materials for new learners as it may not be suitable for the student's ability. This make sense, but I never had thought about it before.
Although this can be a difficult thing to teach, I believe it to have the potential to be one of the more fun lessons to teach.
