Certain skills which are important in class room are collectively called integrated skills. They are broadly classifies into receptive skills and productive skills. We are already aware about receptive skills, so now we will throw some light on productive skills. Productive skills include speaking and writing. Although have both are quite different in certain ways but they serve the same purpose i.e. to communicate. As far as writing is concerned, it is the least developed skill as it is neglected the most. It is a skill which requires more accuracy. Speaking on the other hand is the action of conveying information or expressing one's feelings in speech. There are many hindrances which students face while speaking. They include lack of confidence and interest, fear of making mistakes, previous experiences etc. The communicating techniques can be an encouraging interaction through pair work, group work, careful planning, guided classroom practice etc.
