The following is what I have learnt from this unit.
• I got a clear idea of how a lesson is conducted effectively as seen in the second video.
• The engage phase is very important as students get interested in the lesson and it makes them talk more. This is seen in the second video.
• The attitude the teacher comes in class with greatly affects the students participation and interest in the lesson as it installs fear in them. In the first lesson, the teacher looked unfriendly.
• The lesson plan is very important as it helps us know exactly what we are supposed to teach and the time. In the first lesson the teacher looked confused liked he did not know what the next step was.
• It’s very important to engage all students to participate during the lesson .
• Using of gestures is very important as it saves a lot of time and it makes the teacher talk time less which is beneficial to the students as they get to talk more.
