In this unit, I learned that there are so many English tests for learners. Makes me realize that the demand for English learning is growing and growing. Testing can be nerve-wracking but this unit presents that they can be essential in helping learners with English learning.Placement tests help students get placed in their appropriate level, diagnostic tests help teachers find out what students know, progress tests help both the teacher and students know what they have learned and retained. Tests aren't very popular with students but they are essential.This was extremely difficult and confusing for a number of reasons. Even after reading the unit information a number of times I still am not confident that I would know which future tense to use. The two tenses that are present but also future add to the confusion. I have become aware of how much of my English language speaking is automatic. I do not remember ever learning some of these but have grasped them as my speaking and writing advanced to a higher level. I know what sounds correct but am not able to necessarily parse the sentence correctly.
