It is quite tricky to remember all the subtle differences between parts of speech. Especially when comes to possessive pronouns and adjectives.
Even after reading the materials and listening to the video for a few times.
When identifying parts of speech, I was only missing description of commonly used abbreviations and had to look for them elsewhere. (n - noun, v - verb, adj - adjective, etc.)
Yet, this lesson gave me a good start in fully understanding English grammar.
I will be constantly coming back to it. Until I won't be able to repeat it by heart.This unit was tough but a fascinating look into the forms of pronunciation and phonology. Intonation and stress are concepts that a native English speaker does not have to pay any particular attention to when speaking. However, I know realise how important they may be for ESL learners. The sections on places of articulation and manner of articulation were particularly difficult, but the diagram and graph helped me understand and get my head around the different ways the human mouth produces the English language. This was a fantastic, educational lesson.
