This lesson is confusing yet exciting to study and teach at the same time. I've learned the different meanings of intonation, I was reminded of how to read using the IPA, the techniques for indicating and teaching stress and everything in this unit. Wow! I'm learning a lot from these lessons. The textbook in my class covers about phonemic too but not as extensive as this, somehow, I will be using this information in my class when I get back to work.This unit was about Parts of Speech. It consist of Noun, Pronoun, Verb, Adjective,Adverb, Gerund,Article, Conjunction, Infinitive and Preposition. By learning this basics it will greatly improve my grammar. This help me to be equipped in my future teaching career. This introduction to grammar educates me more about English. Knowing specifically the various parts of speech helps me to be confident and knowledgeable in teaching English to my students.
