The concept of English verb tenses is very important in establishing effective communication. Hence, if i want to maintain both ways of communication better, that is, speaking and writing.the correct use of tenses will help me in speaking with people clearly and effectively, it will enable me to raise the level of readability of my business writings on the other by allowing listeners to understand accurately what i want to convey using English tenses.Effective teaching of English may depend on the natural ability to communicate, but more importantly it depends on the teacher's learned skills and techniques. Moreover, it will depend on the teacher's sensitivity to the needs and situation of the students. This is particularly applicable in the mixed-ability groups where the teacher needs to maintain a balance of speed and accuracy, not to mention the rapport with and among the students themselves.
