This unit was very interesting and informing. It was very helpful to learn about the different skills involved in language and to learn about the receptive skills in this unit was great. I learnt the importance of first getting the students interested and motivated at the start of the lesson. What grabbed my attention was how it is important to pre-teach students more challenging and difficult language so that they can be prepared for what comes next.Pronunciation and phonology are a very big challenge for the teachers. How shown in the unit they imply many rules and aspect not easy to teach, however they are very important. A student can learn all the grammar rules, all the vocabulary, but if he doesn't know how the pronunciation is, no one will understand him. I have found very interesting the paragraphs abut intonation, it is often understimated, but it is necessary to convey the right message.
