This unit explained the two receptive skills, reading and listening, which are an important part of every language. It also covered what the reasons might be for reading or listening, for a purpose or for entertainment, and how we read and listen, by using special skills. Another part of the unit was about problems that might be encountered when reading or listening as well as solutions to those problems. I learned what I can do as a TEFL teacher to assist students in successfully reading or listening to the English language.This unit was about conditionals and reported speech. Even though I understand reported speech it is still confusing, I need to stop and really identify the ver tense befog I can report the speech correctly. Also conditionals are very confusing, because even though I know how to use hypotheticals changing the tenses is tricky, I know if it is right because other wise it sounds incorrect, but teaching this is going to be very difficult, and confusing. So as mentioned in this unit, I need to take it slowly and little by little.
