This unit was very useful for me because I could see new ways to plan my daily lessons., ESA formats. Planning a lesson make my day.I feel confident, relax and safe of my daily work. I do not follow in exact order maybe but It is important to have available in my mind and on paper how is going to be my day with my students.
The functions of a lesson plan are very useful for teachers, co-teachers, supervisors, and substitute teachers . When I need to prepare a lesson for my guest teacher in classroom It takes me more than an hour to write the 3-5 pages the structure of the lesson.I can see how authentic material would be more interesting for a class because they are using real life material that they can apply in their everyday life. Course books are very important too. I think they help build the fundamentals of the English language. I would want to start with a course book first. I think that as a new teacher, you would need a bit of guidance so that you can steer the students into the right direction. Once the foundation is set, I think having authentic material will help in making the language stronger. Learn the basics then apply it to real life.
