In this unit, I learned the different categories of beginner students, and various methods that could be incorporated into teaching beginning students. The unit specifically outlines absolute beginners, false beginners, adult beginners, young beginners, beginners, and suggestions of teaching such students. The unit also provided ideas as how to interact with the beginner students under different class settings such as a individual, group, or cooperation.Unit 8 covers; the future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going, present simple and present continuous. The future is one of the most complex areas of the English language. So many different tenses and ideas can be used with future meanings. Just like the past and present tenses, a teacher must use appropriate teaching methods to keep the student not only engaged but inspire curiosity to want to learn future tenses.
