This unit was about finding the right course material. I think this is probably something a lot of new teachers don't think about. Yes, it's important to have the material to teach the students, but when I thought of it before this unit I just assumed the school would give me the main materials I would need. I never thought that I might have a say in which books are bought for the students. It gave me a new take on it, something important to think about and do research on.I FEEL AS THOUGH THIS LESSON IS VALUABLE FOR LESSON PLANNING ESPECIALLY. IT GIVES US A GUIDELINE TO HOW WE SHOULD \"DESIGN\" OUR LESSONS AND COURSEWORK FOR THE STUDENTS. UNDERSTANDABLY, GRAMMER AND VOCABULARY ARE MAIN COMPONENTS OF LEARNING ANY LANGUAGE. WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO PORTRAY OUR TEACHING LESSON EFFECTIVELY THAT WAY STUDENTS CAN LEARN FUNDAMENTAL SKILLS OF A NEW LANGUAGE. FROM THEN, WE CAN BEGIN TO TEACH MORE ADVANCED ASPECT OF LANGUAGE SUCH AS ACCENT, IDIOMS, ETC.
