This unit is about testing and evaluation. Although many teachers do not believe testing gives an accurate result to students fluency and progress, most schools require them. There are diagnostic and placement tests to ensure students are placed at the right level. Progress tests which evaluated what is learned, which is a helpful tool for teachers and there is practice tests which prepare students for important tests that they will need for schools, universities and jobs.The Unit content ranges from the attitude a teacher should have in the classroom, the grouping of students, class arrangement, how to give instructions, individual student attention to building rapport and maintaining discipline. I think the section about teacher talking time and student talking time was very important and something every teacher should keep in mind. Personally, I found the section on discipline the most helpful, as it is the area I find more challenging.
