This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 8 is about future tenses. We learn the various tenses that can be used to express future events and predictions, though, the main focus is on future simple, future continuous, future perfect and future perfect continuous. The structure of the unit follows the the model used for the present tense and past tense units, and is just as effective. Again I particularly enjoyed having the teaching ideas for each tense. I definitely picked up a few new ones to use. This unit introduced the four basic skills of learning any language; reading, listening, writing, and speaking. The receptive skills are listening and reading, because they are needed for the student to absorb information. This unit was useful in talking about some of the different ways that people analyze information, and categorized them into methods. Like the previous chapter, it brought back the lesson plan information, but this time I didn't need to review.
