This unit thought me a lot about what to use when and how in a classroom, and how to optimise the use of different mediums as teaching aids. It opened my eyes to a lot of new ways to help my future student grasp the material I will be teaching the more effectively and how it is important to vary the mediums I will use. It showed me the differences, advantages and disadvantages of each ways and helped get a better understanding of what situation each one of them is the most optimal in.This unit talks about the importance of evaluations made by the teachers to the students and the assessments. A series of tests were mentioned that are used in student?s evaluations, those tests are: placement tests, progress tests, diagnostics test, practice tests, and external test, these tests have a different purpose in the evaluation. These tests are the ones that help the teacher know about his or her students, and also knowing how her class is resulting, in a learning matter.
