Unit 10 is about how to evaluate students
There are several different ways to evaluate students’ level and progress.
It said tutorials are hard to be used every lesson because they spent some time.
In evaluation by the students, it can be used as a questionnaire or guided discussion which is asked
to students. I think Gathering feedback from students can be valuable in helping me improve and
refine my teaching.
It said that test is useful to assess student at different stages in a course. Kinds of tests that teachers
can take are following placement tests in which teacher can place new students according their
language level, progress tests which they let student review what they learn, diagnostic tests that are
same as placement tests, practice tests, general external examinations including TOEFL, IELTS,
TOELC and Cambridge assessment
In my opinion assessing students is important to give students some feedback and help me improve
my instruction skills
