In this unit the past tenses were described. Because of the difference of the tense system of the English language comparing to other languages, very often the using of the tenses can become a challenge for students. That is why it is very important to know how to present this grammar. So there are four forms of past tense - past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. All of them are used to describe different situations in the past. Past tense is not really different from present tense so students can see similarities in using and form emerging.We start seeing the difference on what to teach. Grammar and Vocabulary. One is the base, the words and meaning of english, the second is how we interact and use them in our daily life. The teacher need to be really careful in this stage, as this is what serve as principle and start for the rest of the learning curve of a student. While using the methods learning in previous chapter, here we engage with the students and start the teaching process. Grammar is more important with begginer english students, while vocabulary is more important for intermediate and advance students.
