Evaluation is important to the classroom teachers as well as guiding teaching and learning. This unit takes us through the meanings of test, measurement assessment and evaluation in education. Their functions are also discussed. For me as a teacher, this unit also gave an idea of the importance of evaluation in education. It helped me to understand the processes of evaluation, measurement and testing in a better a manner and be able to plan and conduct evaluation and testing.This unit was about learning a new language and what to think about for teachers and students. The three main topics were: Vocabulary, Grammar and Language functions. I've learnt what structures to apply for each topic. I think that having learnt this, it will have improved my skills in terms of making a lesson plan.
Furthermore I think it was important to learn about what's important from the student's perspective. This is also a thing to include while creating a lesson plan.
