not to sure how i went here as i went mostly based on common sense and some of the questions werent in the learning material, i feel this unit could have obtained alot more information about dealing with cultural differnces in the classroom.Asi personally feel that this is an extremely delicate topic in which teachers need to be aware ofand know how to deal with it in the best way possible. that is a teaching method in itself in my opinion and is especially important to ESL teachersFrom this unit I have learned a lot of what I take for granted as a natural English speaker and how it might be difficult to differentiate as an English learner. The conjugation of present actions that reflect the past or continuous action is a difficult concept to pick up, and being able to clearly relay why different structures are used and how they relate to present and past actions and periods of time will be essential in trying to teach a student to pick up fluid speaking habits.
