This lesson was about the basics of lesson planning, the reasons for why it is useful, and how to structure a lesson plan in a way that is easy for the teacher to utilize. I have learned the basic reasons for why a lesson plan is useful such as: aiding in planning the lesson, acting as a record of what was done, and as something the teacher can refer to during the lesson. It was also helpful to have a sample lesson plan and format in order to see what one looks like.This unit covered different testing methods for evaluating students. The most relevant to the type of classes I plan to teach are probably progress tests. These are held periodically throughout the course. They should include reading, writing, speaking, and listening, in order to measure the students' progress in all areas. In order to properly evaluate whether the information has been absorbed by the students, only items from the period being tested should be included
