Unit 6 provides an overview about past tenses, which are similar to present tenses. Detailed explanations have been given to the forms and usages of different past tenses. I have enjoyed the teaching ideas introduced in the unit, such as asking adult students with work experience to create resumes. As I recall, I always utilize past simple tense for past work experience. Therefore the students will have extensive exercises on using past simple tense when they create their resumes.Together with the unit about the present tenses, this one is the least I liked. As a person who had to learn all structures of the past tenses, and probably should know all of them, I would benefit more from the tips and methods how to teach the past tenses - especially to young learners, in a way that it appears interesting for them. Grammar is most of the time seen as a very boring part of the language. Students need to memorize different forms of verbs, the usage of the tenses etc.
