This unit is about the various types of evaluations and testing that are available for testing. The assessments are used to measure student's language level through tutorials, evaluation and test. There are different types of test, such as placement, progress and achievement test. Each test measures something different. Students who are learning English as a language exams from the outside. Each outside assessment measures fluency and skills.In this final grammar unit the modal auxilary verbs and the passive voice, as well as phrasal verbs and relative clauses are covered. I found it quite a complex unit, mainly because ( as a native speaker) I'm not very familiar with the different grammatical rules for applying e.g. phrasal verbs. Very useful to have this refreshed. With this unit completed, I feel like I have a good basic understanding of English grammar ( to teach that is).
