In this unit I have learnt:
1) As a teachers we can easily use our ESA methods to introduce new language. During lessons which are specifically targetex to grammar or vocabulary commonly use the 'straight arrow\" ESA approach. Functions-based lessons are commonly approached with\"boomerand\" or \" patchwork\" ESA structures.
2) I have learnt that teaching vocabulary is very important at the early stages. What is receptive and productive vocabulary. How to easier select which words to teach,what students need to know about vocabulary item and what are tbe best techniques for vocabulary teaching.
3) What students need to know grammatical tructures and what are techniques for presentig and rpactising language structures.
4)Language consists not just from vocabulary and grammar but also consist of functions( as suggesting,inviting,agreeing or disagreeing,etc.)Language function lessons is most effectively used with the \"boomerang\" or \"patchwork\" type ESA lessons.
