Intonation is the pattern or melody of pitch changes in connected speech, especially the pattern of a sentence.In a simple way, intonation known as the rise and fall of the voice in speaking. The normal intonation pattern in a statement is the rise/fall intonation, which indicating that the speaker has finished what he/she want to say. The second common intonation pattern is the fall/rise. This indicates that the speaker wants the person whom he's/she's speaking to respond in some way. Finally, we have a kind of level intonation which is basically flat, which often indicates that the speaker doesn't really have that much to say.
Articulation is the way in which you pronounce words or produce sounds with the movement of the speech organs, such as tongue, lips, jaw and etc.
