In this section, various teaching themes and methodology is discussed. Case studies are used as a tool, frame working and problem based learning are talked about as well. Various games are given as ideas such as Battleship and Monopoly so that we can utilize them as a teaching tool. Computer aided language learning, speech act theory and sample lesson plans are giving in the remaining sections. I personally enjoyed reading about the problem based learning because I think it really gets the students thinking and spurs the imagination and creative juices within each student. Also, it gives us as teachers a break from being in the “teaching†mode all the time. I believe computer aided language learning is the way of the future. Currently, I am teaching in a project based learning center and because technology is developing so quickly, its only going to get more popular as time goes on. I think other ways of language learning will become slightly obsolete.
