It is my personal belief that, when it comes to grammar especially, no teacher is above the need for revision; the sort of revision provided by this second unit of the course. No matter how far into the English language a teacher might have journeyed, revisiting even the most basic of rules remains an imperative that must be frequently adhered to. Serving as the only accessible home-turf English language model to learners with mostly limited English skills, often necessitates that the teachers themselves know the most basic breakdowns of the language and the simplest most relatable ways of delivering these breakdowns. Once again as someone who considers himself to be a moderately experienced teacher, I find it absolutely necessary not to underestimate the utility offered by resources such as this unit to refresh and add to my knowledge of the basics, simultaneously as I explore deeper recesses of this wonderful and shape-shifting thing we call the English grammar.
