This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Preparing a course's lesson plans is a very important thing to do. It allows the teacher to have a clear picture of the objectives of the course, what are the students able to learn from your classes and so on. Once you have a broad picture then the teacher can divide their course into lesson plans, which is how each class is going to be structured. This lesson plan's structure should include: date, class level, place, number of students, language points, required aids, students objectives for the class, teacher objectives, anticipated problems both for teacher and students, procedure, timing, phase (engage, study, activate) and interaction (T-S, S-S). It is very important for teachers for be flexible while following a lesson plan, as while some activities might be very enjoyable, some other activities can be moved to the next lesson. What's important is to always move with the flow, and bear in mind the main objectives of the course and not a particular activity.
