This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit I learned about conditionals and reported speech conventions. The zero conditional expresses general truths while the third conditional expresses situations that might have been but are actually not possible. The conditionals span a range from highly likely to very unlikely from the zero conditional to the third conditional. There are different grammatical forms for each conditional. A mixed conditional may be a combination of elements from two different types of zero, first, second, or third conditional. In reported speech, the speakers words are generally expressed one step further back in the past. For example, a present simple spoken statement would be reported in the simple past; the simple past in the past perfect. In addition, words that express a time relation to the moment of the spoken speech must also be altered. For example, if the speaker says \"tomorrow,\" the reported speech must be changed to \"the following day.\"
