In this unit i have learnt:
1) There are 5 main conditionals:
1. Zero conditional. If/when + preswnt simple+ present simple. It refers to actions and facts that are irrefutable.
2. First conditional. If+ present simple,will. Talks about real situation in the future once the condition has been satisfied.
3. Second conditional. If+ past simple,would/might/could+ verb. Communicates a present or future hypothetical situation that is presently not true is unlikely ever to be true.
4. Third conditional. If+ past perfect, would/might/could +have + past patipicle. Refers to a hypothetical past action and the hypothetical past result.
5. Mixed conditional. If+ past perfect,would+ verb. Refers to a hypothetical past action or state and the hypothetical present result.
2) Reported speech and diresct speech.I have learnt what are the differences between these two types of speeches and what changes are made in the sentance when we are changing direct speech into reported speech.
