I've learned that a teacher's attitude plays a big role in the successful delivery of a lesson because if we show that the students don't need to feel intimidated and that they can have fun and relax, they are most likely to perform well during the class. We can establish rapport with our students by using calling them by their names and by trying our best to include everyone during each stage.
The video demonstrated a lesson that was meant for low-level students that is why it is advisable to use the Straight Arrow Approach which begins with the Engage Stage where it is best to do an activity that will make use of any prior knowledge that can be used during the next stages. After the said phase comes the Study Stage where the grammar lesson is now taught and used. During this stage, it is important that we check if the students understood the lesson so that they will be prepared enough to make their own product during the last stage which is called the Activate Stage.
