This unit reinforces that the teacher's manner in the classroom and teaching style is effective to the learning of the students. In the first video the teacher was not engaging to the students and seemed to not really care for the learning of the students. He was willing to call out the mistakes and it made the students to be intimidated to speak out in the lesson. The atmosphere that he portrayed in the classroom was very serious and not welcoming. If I was his student and did not know English that well, then I too would refuse to participate and feel intimidated to even say the answer because it may be wrong. The second video the teacher was very excited and was engaging to all the students. His examples and style made things much easier to learn the material, rather than the first video of handing out a worksheet and working individually. By working in pairs it showed how it allows communication between all the students and make everyone feel comfortable to speak out.
