Unit 20 covers common problem situations that teacher can experience in the classroom and presents solutions in addressing the issues. First thing a teacher must do in the first lesson is to build a student-teacher connection to understand their needs and tailor them with the course preparations. Activities such as passing the ball, board game, or survey can be done to elicit the information needed. Once needs analysis is done, the teacher can start the second lesson. Warmers in a form games are helpful to engage students and set the mode to the lesson. In a class where a mixed of students with different level or a large class exist, it is best to use different materials or pair students, respectively. The use of student's mother tongue must be avoided. In such case, the teacher must see to it that a clear instruction is given, the lesson is interesting, and encouragement is spoken. Difficult vocabularies must be pre-taught to avoid problem with the students' receptive skills.
