This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Well, this unit helped clarifying all types of past tenses including past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous by mentioning the usages of each and providing examples of them. It will also help students to differentiate between each one of the past tenses to the other, and also the differences between the usages of present and past perfect as they are similar in some usages. For instance past perfect shows the actions that happened before other actions in the past while present perfect is talking about actions that happened in the past but is still true till the moment of speaking as we don't know if it's likely going to continue or not. Also, this lesson showed the difference between the present perfect continuous which is talking about incomplete or ongoing activity , and a recently finished actions, while the past perfect continuous is talking about actions that continued happening in the past till another past action that we are talking about.
