As we all know, Culture Shock absolutely can not be avoided in cross- cultural communication, if our students are from different countries, we have to pay more attention to cultural errors which could happen due to language differences. In this unit, I learnt many rules about this part.
Firstly, I know I should find out as much as I can about the country where my student used to live by researching books. And then, I should use formal greetings until I'm quite familiar with them. What's more, I had better not make comments and express political opinion in the class in the first beginning.
The checklist of questions are available in this unit for us to use.I will do it in my following teaching to make it easier when I begin a new term.
I also got lots of resources and websites where I can get more opportunities to find better jobs and how to make C.V.,which I think it's very useful and important for me. I will go through with most of websites when I finish this course.
