When it comes to teaching language, it has been demonstrated that there is not one single best method for everyone in all contexts, and that no one teaching method is inherently superior to the others. It is not always possible nor appropriate to apply the same teaching method to all learners, who have different objectives, environments and learning needs. A language teacher should then adopt their teaching approach from the different methods by deciding on the most suitable techniques and applying the most appropriate methodology for that learner's specific objectives, learning style and context. Each method has a different focus or priority and understanding how these concepts interrelate can help a teacher know the reasons behind their choices in how they choose to teach. A teachers priority should be to focus on the best methods to aid in motivating and helping learners become independent and inspired to learn more.
