This unit lesson provided a concise summary of the English parts of speech grammar I learned how the different parts of speech can be identified into smaller subsections. For example, in the sentence \"The turtle walked slowly\" the adverb \"slowly\" would be a manner adverb, because it describes the manner of how the turtle walked. In the sentence \"I went to the beach twice\" the adverb twice would be a frequency adverb, because it describes the frequency of how many times I went to the beach. So these subsections were very interesting to read about. As a native English speaker, I have used the words shared in the lesson without recognizing that I am using them in the correct grammatical form and order from day to day. I can imagine how daunting it can be to learn English as a non-native speaker. That said, I believe it would be important to have good content knowledge of the English grammar so as to be able to simplify and explain it explicitly with good examples to all learners.
