This unit has honestly made me a bit confused with the multiple forms for future tenses. There are so many uses for each form, and I have not been able to commit them all to memory. I found it also confusing the incorporation of the present tenses used in the future. I went back to review the present simple tense form in the present and tried to find similarities to the usage in present simple used in the future tense. For example, in the present, the present simple tense can be used for permanent situations or facts, and in the future for timetables and schedules. This is the only similarity in the present tense used in the present and future that I could identify. I find it difficult to move forward with this uncertainty, especially since I completed the unit on present tenses with a good feeling. I will work additionally on this unit and find other examples to solidify my understanding to that I may successfully explain the future tense concepts and usages to others appropriately.
