Unit 1 is about Teachers and Learners.
I have learned a lot in this unit, sometimes I did not realize that I have done it in the class. For example, I never made any correction to my students when they are talking in a direct way. I always repeat their sentences in a correct grammar and pronunciation. It is because I don't want to make my students feel embarrassed in front of their friends, which will affect their confidence to try next time.
Another thing, I totally agree, a good teacher will have good learners. It is because, you are as a center in your class. Somehow, everything depends on you. Lets take an example on teaching young learners. The first two weeks are the most important time for me. If the students know, that am fun but quite strict in the class, they will always listen to me. I gave and showed them the rules in the class, they will know and they will behave well. As it said, young learner they are willing to please their children.
That's all that I can say for Unit 1.
