Managing classes is about respecting the individuals, your students, that come into your classroom , and establishing a rapport with them. You do so by engaging them with with eye contact , gestures , your voice and using other techniques like visual aids and instructions on the board, or overhead projectors to keep them focused on the lessons you are teaching. By switching up the classroom; from rows, to horseshoes to individually tables, you can get the students to work as groups or in pairs to increase their talk time. The goal in this unit was to learn how to establish a good environment that would provide an environment for successful learning.
