Unit 4 was an in-depth look at Present Tenses used in the English language. This unit explored the Present Simple, Present Continuous, Present Perfect, and Present Perfect Continuous. We learned how to form each of them in the affirmative, negative, and question formats. We learned the various usages of each of these tenses along with activities we could use in the classroom to teach them to learners. We also explored common mistakes learners may make when delving into these concepts.This unit was a clear introduction in the methods of being equipped to teach new language to any english level. this unit built well on units previously completed in regards to past and present tense. The unit provided good examples of teaching styles / lesson plans - some of which I will continue to reflect back to during my future teaching. the activities given as examples were also good and easy to understand and i can see how these can be modified to differing levels of experience
