Teaching or we say presenting new language is always challenging,no matter what level the students are.We normally need to let them know the meaning of what we're teaching.For instance,they need to know the meaning of a vocab,if we have got some visual aids like media or picturs,it will be easier,if not,a lot of efforts will be put into that part.
In my opinion,teaching grammar to ESL students is the most difficult part,because we have different cultures and habits of expressing ourselves.When we teach grammar,they should not only be taught the meaning and the usage,they should also be taught the differences in expressing when necessary.Of course,the younger learners may have a hard time understanding those differences,but anyway they need to be told and understand eventually.
Using the right activity in a certain teaching phase would be helpful to make a class more effective.
Introduce the langguage in a more manageable and balanced way and you will see the production and achievement soon.
