Both listening and reading is important. Teachers should be able to motivate the students. How can they motivate the students? By choosing a variety of texts and audio examples, so that all the students can be engaged at some level. The teacher should invest time in finding out what interests the students have. This will make it easier to provide an engaging learning environment. Teaching is never straight forward. A lazy teacher, will have lazy students.Unit 17 goes through all the variety of different teaching aids which can be used to make our lessons more easy for students and teachers, more interesting and effective and less dependent on textbooks. It gives detailed description, advantages and disadvantages of all the materials and technologies that are available and how to use them to improve my lessons. The most useful was the list of online resourses which I can already start using in the class.
