This unit gives a general overview of the different basic types of grammar and explains each type well. Grammar has always been a weak point for me, I do not remember formally learning many of these parts of speech at school, unlike my friends who had to go through ESL after coming to the USA in elementary school. I was surprised by the gerund, which I have never heard before. I appreciate this unit because it will help me explain more clearly why a certain sentence is correct or not, which I've struggled with in the past.This unit covered the different ages groups and levels of teaching English. Some student's will be beginners, and some will be adult student's. It's also a possibility that you will be teaching adult business student's. The unit also explained different advantages and disadvantages to teaching multilingual and monolingual classes. I learned different do's and don'ts for teaching each level. I learned different exercises that would be beneficial for each group and how I shouldn't fear beginner learners or business learners.
