From this unit I have learnt many ways of evaluating student's levels and progress. The placement tests are designed to arrange the student to the correct class according to their language ability and let the teacher to gauge the language level of the student. The progress tests should include of all four skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening). The diagnostic tests are given at the start of the course to check what the students already know. And the practice tests are prepared the students for the external tests.The present tense is separated into 4 aspects. The simple aspect is primarily used for habitual actions and facts. The continuous aspect is used for both activities that occur at the present, or near it. The perfect aspects describe past events that affect the present, thought the PPC implies that such action iis still occuring. The exception is with verbs of state.
In addition to this, I learned the various mistakes that most learners will make. This gives me a chance to predict problem areas, and can prepare corrections.
